Sarah is a Chartered Tax Advisor with nearly 25 years of experience, currently serving as a Tax Adviser on the Martyn Fiddler team, which she joined in May 2025. After earning her law degree, she began her career at HMRC before moving into the private sector, where she spent almost 18 years at Big Four firms advising corporate clients on global supply chain VAT matters.

Before joining Martyn Fiddler, Sarah worked at a specialist firm specialising on international VAT and VAT issues related to luxury assets, including yachting and business aviation. She brings deep expertise in the marine, aviation, and defence sectors, working with manufacturers, UHNWI owners, family offices, brokers, and professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants.

Sarah takes pride in helping clients pragmatically achieve their objectives while ensuring they fully understand their tax position.

Ian is a Fellow of the ICAEW with a career spanning international development, corporate finance and luxury before qualifying with Deloitte in Cambridge. Ian has held senior finance roles at PwC, AIM listed mining firms and leading yachting companies including Y.CO, Hill Robinson and YPI.

Tobias Heining

Business Development - Europe

Tobias leads Martyn Fiddler’s business development activities across the DACH region. He joined the team in 2023, having previously held C level positions at major commercial law firms. He holds a master's degree in History and a degree in Business Economics.
