1984 IFA Administration Limited (the entity which would become Martyn Fiddler Limited) is incorporated in the Isle of Man on 26 October 1984.
1985 The maiden flight of the Gulfstream GIV takes place on 19 September 1985.
1986 NetJets launches the revolutionary concept of shared business jet ownership whereby a client can buy a share of an aircraft.
1989 IFA Administration Limited changes its name to Inter-Continental Management Limited (aka ICM) and would carry this name for the next 34 years.
1991 The first Cessna CitationJet (CJ) is flown on 29 April 1991.
1995 The all-new Learjet 45 is flown for the first time on 7 October 1995.
1996 The transition away from the 1971 Statements of Standard Accounting Practices (SSAPS) towards Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) began.
1997 To celebrate its 50th anniversary, the National Business Aircraft Association became the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA).
2000 The Corporate Services Providers Act 2000 is enacted in the Isle of Man this required licencing of providers of corporate service for the first time.
2001 ICM receives its Corporate Service Provider licence on 14 December 2001.
2001 EBACE is held for the first time in Geneva.
2002 Martyn Fiddler team attend EBACE for the first time.
2002 Martyn Fiddler Associates imports its 500th aircraft.
2003 EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) becomes fully operational it was formed from the states making up the joint aviation authorities (JAA) in Europe.
2003 Martyn Fiddler exhibit at EBACE for the first time 2 chairs and a pull up banner!
2003 Concord retires.
2005 Fiduciary Services Act 2005 introduced to include trust providers as regulated entities in the Isle of Man.
2006 – Martyn Fiddler Associates Limited is acquired by ICM Aviation on 12 January 2006.
2006 Isle of Man introduces the 0% corporate rate of tax.
2007 Martyn Fiddler Associates imports its 1,000th aircraft.
2007 The Isle of Man Aircraft Registry was launched on 1 May 2007 and exceeded its target registrations in just 6 months.
2008 The Financial Services Act replaces all previous corporate services regulations in the Isle of Man.
2008 The ICM Group is incorporated to hold all other ICM and Martyn Fiddler business entities.
2010 Customs rules to change in UK for aircraft imports over 8,000kgs.
2011 Launch of Martyn Fiddler Tax.
2011 First Isle of Man Aviation Conference.
2013 Incorporation of Martyn Fiddler Netherlands.
2013 Martyn Fiddler start performing Air Passenger Duty (APD) services for clients.
2014 We move into our new headquarters at North Quay on the Isle of Man.
2014 First aircraft imported into the Netherlands using Martyn Fiddler fiscal representation.
2015 All prior accounting standards swept away to make way for the new Financial Reporting Standard 102 (FRS 10).
2016 New Union Customs Code launched.
2016 The UK votes for Brexit.
2017 Rebrand of the ICM Aviation to become Martyn Fiddler Aviation.
2018 Martyn Fiddler Customs Services gets accredited AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) status.
2019 Launch of Martyn Fiddler Ireland with the opening of a new office in Shannon.
2021 The UK and EU customs and tax territories split from 1 January 2021.
2022 The Isle of Man Aviation Conference holds its 10th anniversary celebrations on its 12th year as a result of the global pandemic.
2023 Martyn Fiddler launch the Deal Centre with Biggin Hill Airport.
2024 Martyn Fiddler has processed over $22.6 Billion worth of aircraft through a variety of customs processes in the EU and UK.
