EALA’s 37th Annual Conference in Vienna. A Resounding Success

This month, Greta Kemper, Tax Director, spoke at the 37th Annual Conference of the European Air Law Association (EALA), held in Vienna.

Greta joined a panel of experts to unpack the often misunderstood topic of Temporary Admissions (TA) a critical area for operators, owners, and advisors working with cross border aviation transactions. The discussion explored how varying interpretations of commercial versus private use can significantly impact the application of TA, and why clarity in this space is essential for compliance and operational efficiency.

Drawing on her deep expertise in EU and UK tax, Greta provided practical insights on avoiding common pitfalls, planning transactions effectively, and understanding the strategic implications of TA across jurisdictions. Reflecting on the event, Greta shared:

“A really excellently organised and insightful conference. Many thanks to the EALA team for inviting me to speak, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. All the sessions were insightful and informative. A standout mention has to go to the panel on passenger rights, which was excellent especially considering the challenge of being the final session of the day.”
