When Tobias Heining (Business Development Europe) joined the Martyn Fiddler team just over a year ago his focus was primarily on business aviation. He did not expect he would be asked to attend this years Monaco Yacht Show!

Initially it came as quite a surprise Tobias told us, however I can see the logic now, the presence of aviation companies and owners at the MYS has grown substantially in recent years, and this coupled with Martyn Fiddler s ability to now provide ownership and tax services to yacht owners means that this has become an important event for us to attend as a team . Adrian Parcell-Jones is happy to add that he in his capacity as Tax Director at Martyn Fiddler has understood the value of the MYS for many years and has seen it grow with each year he has attended.

Last year was the first time I was able to make sufficient space in my diary to get there, and I am so glad I did! Many people told me that despite its glamour this is a very hard show to do right; it s an unpredictable, long, hot week, with so many events to attend and many conversations to have. Whilst I found this to be true, I learnt a lot from new and established contacts and as a direct result of being here we obtained client work, which is always fantastic.

One piece of advice Adrian is always keen to give to new attendees to the show Away from the port everything is uphill, everything!!!
