As preparations for IOMAC 2026 gather momentum, we are delighted to introduce the first of our conference co-chairs: Chris Bigwood. Chris serves as Honeywell’s Connectivity Sales Manager for Business Aviation across the UK and Western Europe. His career spans aviation operations, engineering, and sales, and he brings a strong blend of technical expertise and industry insight into the role.

His current work focuses on future aerospace connectivity solutions and the fast-developing field of advanced air mobility. As a regular conference speaker, he offers clear and informed perspectives at a time when the industry is rapidly adopting multi-network business aviation connectivity.

What Chris Looks Forward to at IOMAC 2026

Chris values IOMAC for its strong sense of community and the quality of its discussions. As co-chair, he aims to help shape an event that encourages open conversation, shared learning and meaningful professional relationships.

Chris has kindly shared a few key areas of IOMAC he particularly enjoys:

  • Networking that builds real connections.
  • Exploring new areas of business aviation.
  • Supporting newcomers.
  • Sharing technology insights.
  • Taking part in the social activities.

What to Expect from IOMAC 2026

With Chris involved in shaping the program, attendees can expect an event that combines technical depth with practical insight. The 2026 conference will continue to bring together a wide range of professionals to discuss the issues that influence the future of business aviation.

We will share more information as the agenda develops, but we are confident that Chris’s input will help create an engaging and collaborative event where people share ideas, build connections and support the industry’s progress.
