Introducing IOMAC’s Second Co-chair Maureen Gautier

16 Feb, 2026

IOMAC is delighted to welcome Maureen Gautier as our second co-chair for this year’s conference. Maureen brings with her a rare blend of legal expertise, sustainability leadership, and deep industry insights that spans both business aviation and maritime finance.

Based in London, Maureen currently serves as Programme Manager – Europe at 4AIR, where she guides aviation stakeholders in building meaningful, comprehensive sustainability programmes. Her work focuses on helping organisations navigate the evolving landscape of environmental responsibility, ensuring that sustainability is not just a compliance exercise but a strategic advantage.

Before joining 4AIR, Maureen was the Sustainability Manager at the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) in Brussels. There, she played a central role in shaping the association’s environmental initiatives and supporting the sector’s transition toward more sustainable operations.

Maureen’s career began in law, and she remains a dual-qualified lawyer (France and England & Wales). She has held key legal roles at The Air Law Firm, where she advised on aircraft transactions, finance, and management, and at Borealis Maritime Limited, focusing on shipping finance and corporate transactions. Her early training included positions at Dassault Falcon Jet in New York and Airbus in Miami, giving her a global perspective on aviation from the outset.

Why Maureen Recommends IOMAC

As someone who has attended and supported IOMAC for years, Maureen brings not only professional expertise but also a genuine appreciation for what makes this event special. In her own words, she recommends IOMAC because:

  • It’s an intimate event that sparks refreshingly open and honest conversations, the kind that rarely happen in larger, more formal settings.
  • It’s the perfect time of year to reconnect with industry friends and partners, and she always leaves with new perspectives – not just new contacts.
  • The Isle of Man plays a unique role in aviation, and its relative remoteness creates an ideal environment for meaningful dialogue and real networking.
  • This year’s programme is intentionally designed to encourage candid discussion about the challenges the industry faces, as well as the solutions beginning to emerge.

With her international background, legal acumen, and sustainability leadership, Maureen brings a thoughtful, future-focused perspective to the co-chair role. We’re thrilled to have her help guide this year’s conversations and shape an event that continues to stand apart in the industry.
