Heather & Greta to speak at EBAA’s AIR OPS 2023

9 Feb, 2023

Heather Gordon, Legal Director and Greta Kemper, Senior Tax Manager, at Martyn Fiddler Aviation will be explaining the mindset operator and aircraft users need to adopt when flying into Europe at EBAA s AIR OPS 2023.

The event will take place 13-14 February at Event Lounge in Brussels, Belgium. AIR OPS is Europe s premier event for business aviation flight operations professionals. EBAA promises to bring together over 400 participants to discuss the latest operational information, discover new vendors and suppliers, attend topicals training sessions and network with peers.

Heather and Greta will be speaking on day 2 (Tuesday 14 February) of the conference alongside Paul Walsh and Tobias Konik. They will discuss how to be smart with taxation, while also looking at some of the pitfalls and inconsistencies in the European taxation environment. Get ready to take a trip around Europe to learn what to expect and how to ensure you comply.

Heather commented: I will be onboard to explain the importance of taking tax advice. Ignorance is no defence and being caught not having paid your taxes is going to be at best inconvenient and expensive and at worst will see your aircraft impounded and you potentially prosecuted, it obviously makes sense to understand your obligations and to have peace of mind, knowing you have met them and have the correct documentation on hand to prove it.
