On 23rd August 2018 the UK Government published 25 technical notices on some aspects of what should happen in the event of a “no deal” or “hard” Brexit. The notices are designed to assist organisations and interested persons prepare for such a scenario.

Whilst the notices repeatedly state that the UK government is of the view that a “no deal” outcome with respect to the negotiations it is holding with the EU is “unlikely”, all remains speculation.
