Martyn Fiddler supports aircraft owners, operators, family offices, lawyers, brokers, manufacturers, maintenance bodies and advisers across multiple jurisdictions. We know that the most valuable conversations can often happen away from the boardroom.
That was certainly the case during our recent visit to Austria, where Martyn Fiddler proudly supported the Austrian Business Aviation Association (ABAA) Summer Event and hosted a High Value Asset Round Table alongside industry partners. Representing us on the ground were Tobias Heining and Ian Petts, whose discussions throughout the event reflected the increasingly international and interconnected nature of business aviation.
Austria’s reputation for precision, innovation and professional excellence is matched by a strong business aviation ecosystem that serves both European and international operators. From aircraft management and maintenance to legal, financial and ownership advisory services, the depth of expertise on display was impressive.
A particular highlight was the High Value Asset Round Table, which brought together nearly 140 professionals from aviation, family offices, banking, wealth management, legal services, insurance and security. The event demonstrated how closely connected these industries have become. Aircraft ownership today extends far beyond transportation and increasingly intersects with governance, succession planning, financing, risk management and wealth preservation.
Across every discussion, one theme stood out. Successful ownership depends on trusted relationships and specialist expertise. As regulatory environments evolve and ownership entities become more complex, access to experienced advisers is more important than ever.
The ABAA event also provided an opportunity to celebrate the people who make our industry exceptional. From engineers and maintenance professionals to pilots and operators, business aviation relies on a network of highly skilled individuals working together to maintain safety, efficiency and reliability. Their contribution often happens behind the scenes, yet it remains fundamental to the sector’s success.
For Martyn Fiddler, events such as these reinforce the importance of collaboration. By engaging with industry associations, clients and partners, we gain valuable insight into emerging challenges and opportunities while continuing to strengthen the relationships that support our clients around the world.
Our thanks go to ABAA, all event sponsors and everyone who contributed to such a productive and engaging week. We are also grateful to Tobias and Ian for representing Martyn Fiddler and helping to demonstrate the value of our continued commitment to the business aviation community.
We look forward to building on these conversations in the months ahead. If you have any queries about owning, buying or selling a high value asset contact hello@martynfiddler.com.
