Day two was just a busy as day one! Adrian Parcell-Jones Tax Director took part in an EBACE 2025 panel debate and our annual celebration with the EBACE community went on for most of the afternoon.
Adrian’s panel was called ‘Navigating Tariffs: Business Aviation’s Response to Global Trade Challenges’. The panellists explored how shifting global trade policies and tariffs impact the business aviation sector. Industry leaders and policymakers discussed strategies to mitigate financial pressures, maintain operational efficiency, and adapt to evolving regulations.
Speakers emphasised the importance of proactive planning, advocating for data-driven decision-making to manage costs effectively. They also highlighted the role of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and hybrid-electric propulsion in reducing dependency on traditional supply chains.
Importantly, the session addressed market resilience, urging businesses to diversify sourcing strategies and strengthen international partnerships to navigate economic uncertainties.
Adrian commented: ‘I find it incredibly rewarding to be part of the EBAA both on stage and behind the scenes – at Martyn Fiddler we assist to advise and educate on specialist tax and customs matters. Thank you to Paul Walsh, Ian Petts and Tobias Kleitman for a really great discussion ’
Our annual celebration at ‘The Feathers’ was filled with fun, laughter and conversations around our various solutions for business aviation.
Mark Byrne Director stated: ‘This year’s EBACE has been outstanding and EBAA have worked hard to make it such a great event. Everyone knows Martyn Fiddler is all about celebrating relationships old and new – and the fact that we got to do this twice in two days is just fabulous. We’re looking forward to day three and can’t wait to catch up on all the shenanigans.’
